Gonna keep this short and sweet. After an unplanned 'vacation' from DA I decided it's time to start posting again! Life got in the way and my photography took a bit of a back seat, but recently I've realized just how much I miss it.

Not gonna promise that my uploads will be regular or even often, but I'm at least no longer dead. 

Another quick note, I'm pretty much done with stock photos. Super sorry if that's what you guys came here for but I just want to focus on my own style....

Hi guys! So I entered the Go Green Contest! with my most recent pic and part of the winners are chosen by voters. At first I just wanted to let votes play out as they will, but after I realized how many people were asking for their votes I feel like there's no way I could win without asking as well....kinda sucks, but do what you've got to do I guess. So I'm looking for a new laptop (of course I have been for a year now) and I finally have enough to get serious and pick one out. I have about a $2000 limit and I'm looking for a powerful laptop. I'm a film student, so I know good graphics and a solid state is a must. I will NOT get a mac though, so don't waste your time suggesting it. Currently the model that's caught my eye the most is MSI's gs70 stealth pro-098 (link). Any one have any opinions on it or any other laptop to help me out? I'm having a tough time making a decision because I want it to be as perfect as it can be for me since I'm spending enough on it.

Do you ever see something and realize you need it in your life? And I mean NEED it...
This right here. Gimme!  Like seriously, the 5DS is quite possible the most beautiful thing to ever grace this world with its presence. I would dump my boyfriend and run away with this camera if I could (no hard feelings, right hun?   ) 50 megapixels AND full frame?! I wouldn't even know how to handle that much quality!! And it's out! Right now!! Other people have it and not me!
I need it now but it's soooo much and I'm sooo poor...why cruel world?! Why must you do this to me?! :bademoticon:  I'm seriously throwing a tantrum internally, life isn't fair. Ugh!! 

No but seriously, I can't even imagine how it could potentially help my photography. Stock especially, the more resolution the better. Any rich people want to help out a poor college student?? (Kidding of course, unless someone out there isn't  )

So a bit of a good news/bad news situation, and I meant to get this journal out sooner but I was just sooo busy. Well the good news is last week was finals week and I survived That's always good to make it through finals (and pull good grades). But the bad news....with the end of finals comes summer, and with summer comes and I no longer being 10 minutes apart. Basically I'm going to be going on a semi-hiatus until fall semester, now I say SEMI-hiatus for a few reasons. First there's the last of our past shoot that I'll be periodically uploading in the near future. But mainly my camera and I aren't separated, so I'll be focusing a bit more on my non-portrait photograph hobby. If anyone is watching me only for our stock. then I apologize and promise there will be much more come fall.  Also the last reason it's not a full hiatus is because, if all goes well, and I will meet up at least once over the summer to do a whole bunch of shooting at once. So there's something to be excited for! But yeah, just thought I'd give everyone a quick update on what to expect from my account for the next few months. Sorry for the semi-hiatus
